Your healthcare options, simplified

If you have low to moderate income you can apply for Medicaid Expansion/Heritage Health Adult. If you don’t meet the income requirement, you can apply for the Every Woman Matters Program and The Nebraska Colon Cancer Screening Program to get access to free services.

Medicaid Expansion/Heritage
Health Adult

Heritage Health Adult (HHA) is Nebraska’s Medicaid Program. You’re eligible for this program if you’re between the ages of 19-64 and if your annual income is $18,754 for just you or $38,295 for a household of four.

Every Woman Matters

Every Woman Matters (EWM) is a federally funded program that pays for office visits for Pap tests, pelvic exams, clinical breast exams, mammograms and lab fees for women. You’re eligible for this program if you’re a woman between the ages of 21-74 and if your annual income is $39,125 for just you or $80,375 for a household of four.

Nebraska Colon Cancer Screening Program

The Nebraska Colon Cancer Screening Program (NCP) is a colon cancer screening program that offers enrollment, screening, and education to Nebraska men and women who are 45-74 years old and if your annual income is $39,125 for just you or $80,375 for a household of four.

  • I have financial concerns or no medical coverage. 

  • I worry about paying for my women’s health check-ups. 

  • I have concerns getting to or from appointments. 

  • I worry about finding someone to watch my kid(s) or parent(s) during appointments. 

  • My first language isn’t English. 

  • I want someone to go with me to my appointment for support. 

  • I want or need help filling out paperwork.
